Whether it is the end of the year, the beginning of a new one or sometime in between, this activity is helpful in clarifying, affirming or correcting the path you are on.

For the next two weeks, every day, create a peaceful time (usually just after waking or just before sleep) to write on the topic:

“What do I truly desire?” Or “My Heaven Is.”

Start with some meditation to center and quiet your mind. Do yoga or stretch if you need to. Then,

Make a list without editing your thoughts.
Let wild and stupid things be included with serious longings.

If you can’t think of anything initially,
write those thoughts out of the way.
Vent about your life or frustrations on paper.
It will unlock the feeling of “I want.”
Then write that.

Do this for about 10 minutes everyday.
But, Don’t look at the prior days before writing. Start fresh every day.

After the 2 weeks set it aside without looking at it.
Mark your calendar to pick it up and review it a week or two later.
Then, summarize the top 3 things that show up consistently.

Let those guide your priorities or next steps.
